Hormone changes can affect energy, sleep, mood, body composition, sexual health, and overall well-being. At AdoreU, treatment starts with a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, health history, goals, and labs — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Personalized hormone care for women and men experiencing changes in energy, sleep, mood, body composition, sexual health, and overall well-being.
Your treatment starts with a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, goals, health history, and labs — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
INITIAL EVALUATION
Many people come to AdoreU after having labs checked and being told everything looks “normal” — yet they still don’t feel like themselves.
Hormone-related symptoms rarely exist in isolation. Changes in energy, sleep, mood, libido, body composition, mental clarity, strength, and overall well-being can be influenced by hormones, thyroid function, metabolic health, nutritional status, medications, lifestyle, and other factors.
That’s why your evaluation goes beyond a basic hormone panel.
We look at your symptoms, health history, goals, and comprehensive lab results together to better understand what may be contributing to the way you feel and whether hormone therapy is appropriate.
The goal is not to chase a single lab number.
It’s to understand the bigger picture and build a treatment plan around you.
Estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, SHBG and other relevant markers are interpreted in the context of your age, symptoms, life stage, and treatment goals.
Thyroid changes can contribute to fatigue, weight changes, hair changes, temperature sensitivity, mood changes, and other symptoms that can overlap with hormone concerns. We evaluate thyroid function as part of the bigger picture when clinically appropriate.
Chronic inflammation directly affects how your body metabolizes and responds to hormones. If inflammation is present, we want to know before we build your protocol — not after.
Blood sugar, insulin resistance risk, cholesterol, liver and kidney function, and other metabolic markers can influence how you feel and may affect treatment decisions.
Deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals directly affect hormone production, energy, mood, and how your body responds to treatment. We assess the markers most relevant to your symptoms and overall hormonal health.

Every hormone protocol at AdoreU is evaluated and managed by a board-certified nurse practitioner — not a wellness coordinator or virtual provider. Your care is clinical.
Hormone changes can affect women and men differently — from the symptoms you notice to the treatment options that may be appropriate. At AdoreU, we evaluate the whole picture and personalize care based on your symptoms, health history, labs, and goals.
Perimenopause and menopause can affect far more than your menstrual cycle. Changes in estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone may contribute to shifts in energy, sleep, mood, cognition, body composition, sexual health, and overall quality of life.
Because hormone patterns can fluctuate significantly during perimenopause, symptoms and a single lab result don’t always tell the same story. Your evaluation considers your symptoms, cycle history, health history, and laboratory trends together.
Common symptoms that bring women in:
Fatigue that doesn't resolve with rest
Brain fog, difficulty concentrating, or memory lapses
Mood changes, irritability, or anxiety that feels hormonally driven
Sleep disruption — difficulty falling or staying asleep
Hot flashes and night sweats
Weight gain, particularly around the midsection
Low libido or changes in sexual comfort
Hair thinning or changes in skin quality
Irregular cycles or significant changes in flow
Women’s hormone programs may also include personalized supplement recommendations, the Women’s Hormone Optimization Resource Guide, and educational support throughout the program.
Hormone Optimization For Men
Low testosterone can be associated with changes that often develop gradually — lower energy, reduced libido, changes in strength or body composition, slower recovery, or simply not feeling like yourself.
But symptoms alone don’t diagnose testosterone deficiency. We evaluate your symptoms, health history, and laboratory results together before determining whether testosterone therapy is appropriate.
Common symptoms that bring men in:
Low energy or persistent fatigue
Reduced motivation or mental drive
Difficulty building or maintaining muscle
Increased body fat, particularly around the midsection
Brain fog or difficulty concentrating
Mood changes, irritability, or low-grade depression
Decreased libido or sexual performance changes
Poor sleep or longer recovery times after physical activity
The initial BHRT program is structured around defined checkpoints — not because we follow a rigid script, but because your body needs time to respond and we need data at the right intervals to get your protocol right. Here's what that typically looks like.
After your appointment and package selection, you'll receive individual information about your specific timeline and what's included in your program.
Are you ready for REAL change? Your Protocol Appointment
TREATMENT BEGINS
Once your intake labs have been reviewed and your plan is established, you'll come in for your protocol appointment. This is where treatment begins. Pellet therapy is the preferred delivery method at AdoreU — small pellets are inserted just beneath the skin in a quick, in-office procedure, and from there your body does the work. Because these pellets are manufactured from granules rather than compressed powder, they dissolve at a controlled, consistent rate — eliminating the soft spots that can cause uneven absorption and unwanted hormone bursts in standard pellets. For patients who are better suited to a topical option, that can be discussed at your appointment.
W5
WEEK 5
Labs
At five weeks, you'll have your labs drawn at an outside lab. This gives us an early look at how your body is absorbing and utilizing the hormones so we're not waiting on results when you come in for your follow-up.
W6
WEEK 6
Follow-up Appointment
You'll come in to review your week 5 labs and talk through how you're feeling. This is where we assess what's working, address any questions, and make early adjustments to your protocol if needed.
W14
WEEK 14
Labs
At 14 weeks, labs are drawn again ahead of your final initial program appointment. This gives us a current picture of where your levels are as your first pellet cycle comes to completion.

WEEK 16 - FINAL APPOINTMENT
Review & Transition to Quarterly Care
You'll come in to review your week 14 labs, discuss your overall response to therapy, and finalize your protocol. From here, you'll transition into quarterly maintenance care — where ongoing insertions, labs, and clinical oversight stay on a consistent schedule so your results remain stable over time.

01
Your first visit starts with a conversation. We’ll talk through what you’ve been experiencing, your health history, previous treatment, and what you hope to improve.
From there, we’ll determine the laboratory testing that makes sense for you and draw your initial labs.
02
Once your results are available, you’ll return for a comprehensive review. We’ll go through your labs together, connect the results with your symptoms and health history, and discuss what may be contributing to the way you feel.
If hormone therapy is appropriate, we’ll build your treatment plan together.
03
Your treatment plan may include estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, or other therapies when clinically appropriate.
Hormone pellet therapy is our preferred delivery method for many patients because it provides sustained delivery without a daily dose to remember.
Other options may include injectable therapy, transdermal patches or creams, oral therapy when appropriate, and other prescription or compounded options.
You don’t need to know which hormone or delivery method you need before you come in. That’s what the evaluation is for.
04
For many of our hormone patients, pellet therapy is our preferred delivery method because it provides sustained hormone delivery without a daily dose to remember.
Pellets are placed just beneath the skin and gradually release hormone over time. This can be a convenient option for patients who want consistent treatment without managing creams, patches, or frequent injections.
Long-lasting treatment with fewer dosing decisions at home
No daily application or weekly injection schedule
Individualized dosing based on your symptoms, labs, health history, and treatment goals
Convenient maintenance for patients who prefer a more hands-off approach
Ongoing monitoring so treatment can be adjusted as your needs change
Pellets are not the right choice for everyone, and they are not the only way we provide hormone therapy.
Depending on your individual needs, other options may include injectable, transdermal, oral, or compounded therapies.
The goal is not to put everyone on pellets. The goal is to choose the treatment approach that makes the most sense for you.
There is no single hormone level, dose, or delivery method that is right for every person.
Age, medications, thyroid function, metabolic health, sleep, stress, body composition, medical history, symptoms, and individual response to therapy can all influence your treatment plan.
At AdoreU, the goal isn't to put everyone on the same protocol.
The goal is to help you feel better while providing thoughtful, individualized medical care.
Yes. Your first visit includes a discussion of your symptoms, health history, concerns, and goals so we can determine which laboratory testing is appropriate. After your labs are completed, you’ll return to review the results and discuss your treatment options.
No. Pellet therapy is our preferred delivery method for many patients when clinically appropriate, but it is not the only option. Depending on your individual needs, treatment may also include injectable, transdermal, oral, or other prescription or compounded therapies.
Pellets provide sustained hormone delivery without a daily dose to remember, making them a convenient option for many patients. Your symptoms, labs, health history, goals, and preferences are considered before determining whether pellet therapy is the right choice for you.
Yes. We provide individualized hormone evaluation and treatment for both women and men. Women commonly seek care for changes related to perimenopause and menopause, while men may be evaluated for symptoms associated with low testosterone.
No. Labs are an important part of the evaluation, but they are only one piece of the picture. We also consider your symptoms, health history, medications, life stage, previous treatment, and goals when developing your plan.
There is no exact timeline because response to hormone therapy is highly individualized. Some people notice changes sooner, while others may need more time before meaningful improvement occurs.
How you respond can be influenced by many factors beyond hormone levels alone, including sleep, stress, metabolic health, gut health, nutrition, exercise, medications, autoimmune conditions, and other medical concerns.
Hormone therapy may be one part of the solution rather than the entire solution. In some cases, improving symptoms requires a layered approach that addresses several contributing factors over time.
That’s why we monitor your symptoms, laboratory trends, overall health, and response to treatment rather than promising a specific result by a specific date.
The goal is to identify what is contributing to the way you feel and build a plan that evolves with you.
Follow-up depends on your treatment plan, the hormones being prescribed, and how you respond to therapy. Repeat labs and follow-up visits are used to monitor both your response and treatment safety.
No. Hormone therapy can have benefits and risks and is not appropriate for every person. Your health history, symptoms, laboratory results, risk factors, and goals are reviewed before treatment is recommended.
